Job Requirements:
Solution Development & Customization: Design, develop, and implement end-to-end ITAM (SAM/HAM) solutions on the ServiceNow platform based on business requirements.
Workflow Automation: Create and configure complex workflows, business rules, UI actions, client scripts, and catalog items to automate asset lifecycle management (from procurement to disposal).
Platform Integration: Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and third-party discovery tools, procurement tools, vendor platforms, and ERP environments using IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs.
CMDB & Asset Governance: Ensure seamless mapping between the CMDB and Asset tables. Maintain discovery schedules and clean data reconciliation patterns to minimize gaps.
License & Lifecycle Compliance: Configure license metrics, software models, entitlements, and software counters to generate accurate compliance dashboards and audit-ready reports.
Maintenance & Support: Troubleshoot platform issues, perform code reviews, and support platform upgrades, ensuring custom ITAM applications remain stable and efficient.
Required Technical Skills:
Core Platform Skills: Strong proficiency in ServiceNow development (JavaScript, Glide API, Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Policies)
ITAM Expertise: Deep understanding of the ServiceNow ITAM suite, specifically SAM Professional (SAM Pro) and HAM Professional (HAM Pro).
Integration and Discovery: Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, IntegrationHub, and importing data via Transform Maps.
Data Structure Knowledge: Strong comprehension of relational databases, CMDB architecture, and the Common Services Data Model (CSDM).
