Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble metal furniture/components as per drawings, BOM, and work instructions.
- Fit hardware, hinges, channels, locks, handles, and accessories correctly.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
- Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and fixtures safely.
- Inspect assembled products for fitment, alignment, and functionality.
- Report any defects, missing parts, or quality issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain required production output and minimize rework.
- Follow 5S, safety, and company SOPs on the shop floor.
- Ensure proper handling of materials to avoid damage.
- Coordinate with QC, Stores, and other production departments for smooth workflow.
- Maintain daily production records as required.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of mechanical fitting and assembly techniques.
- Ability to read basic engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments (measuring tape, vernier caliper, etc.).
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team and meet production deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of workplace safety practices.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Daily production target achievement.
- First-time-right assembly percentage.
- Rework and rejection percentage.
- Material handling and damage control.
- Adherence to safety and 5S standards.
- Attendance and punctuality.
- Quality compliance and customer complaint reduction.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
