Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook authentic Bangalore/Karnataka cuisine such as Bisi Bele Bath, Ragi Mudde, Vangi Bath, Chow Chow Bath, etc.
- Ensure taste consistency, quality, and presentation standards are maintained at all times
- Manage a specific section of the kitchen independently
- Supervise and guide Commis chefs and kitchen assistants
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness as per FSSAI standards
- Ensure proper food storage, stock rotation (FIFO), and inventory control
- Coordinate with purchase/store team for raw materials
- Monitor portion control to minimize wastage
- Assist in menu planning and introducing new dishes
- Follow company SOPs and kitchen discipline
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior Commis in South Indian/Bangalore cuisine
- Strong knowledge of Karnataka recipes, spices, and cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Good leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Flexibility to work in shifts
