Job Summary
We are seeking a Plant Operator to join our team in Bhopal. Who will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) and Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) systems. The role includes ensuring smooth plant operations, monitoring water treatment parameters, handling chemical dosing, supporting maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor STP/ETP plant equipment such as pumps, blowers, motors, and valves
- Check and maintain process parameters like pH, DO, MLSS, and water quality
- Handle chemical dosing (alum, chlorine, polymer, etc.) safely and efficiently
- Perform routine equipment inspection and minor troubleshooting
- Support preventive maintenance and report breakdowns/issues
- Manage sludge handling, drying beds, and filter press operations
- Maintain daily log books, reports, and operational records
- Ensure proper housekeeping, PPE usage, and safety compliance
- Monitor chemical stock and follow SOPs and pollution control norms
- Assist during plant startup, shutdown, audits, and inspections.
Qualification
- Minimum Qualification: 12th Pass
- Experience in STP/ETP/WTP operations is an added advantage
