Summary:
As an Application Developer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications that align with business processes and meet specific application requirements. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding organizational needs and translating them into functional software solutions. The workday often includes collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed are efficient, reliable, and tailored to support business objectives effectively. Continuous refinement and adaptation of applications to evolving business demands are also key aspects of the daily routine.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement improvements in application design and functionality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- France localization in SAP (tax, legal reporting and compliance requirements - SAP Document Compliance)
- Understanding of EU/France e-Invoicing and e-reporting mandates and regulatory framework
- Mapping of existing invoice formats to the mandated France/EU e-Invoicing structure
- Knowledge of integration with government platforms/portals
- Coordination with business and technical teams for implementation and testing
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting processes and integration within enterprise resource planning systems.
- Experience in configuring and customizing SAP FI modules to meet business requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues related to financial accounting.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and best practices in application development.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
