Job Title: Duty Medical Officer (Emergency Room / Casualty)

Employment Type: Permanent - 2PM-8PM (6 Hours Duty)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and quick-thinking Duty Medical Officer (DMO) to manage patients in the Emergency Room / Casualty. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing immediate medical care, stabilizing patients, and coordinating with specialists to ensure timely treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to emergency patients
- Handle trauma cases, medical emergencies, and critical care situations
- Stabilize patients and initiate appropriate management protocols
- Perform basic and advanced life support procedures (BLS/ACLS)
- Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, and other departments
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and patient safety standards
- Respond effectively to code blue and other emergency situations
- Guide and supervise junior staff and paramedics
Qualifications & Requirements:
- MBBS degree from a recognized institution (mandatory)
- Valid Medical Council Registration
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Emergency / Casualty (preferred)
- Certification in BLS / ACLS (preferred)
- Strong decision-making and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, including night duties
