1. Machine Operation
Operate MBJ3 1/1150 weaving machine as per production plan.
Set up warp beams, weft yarns, and design parameters as per order requirements.
Ensure correct pattern (Patt-No), item code, and machine settings match the order
Monitor machine performance and ensure smooth running without interruption.
2. Production Quality Control
Ø Perform regular checks during production:
Weaving quality and appearance
Yarn defects (breakage, fraying, uneven weaving)
Color matching with approved samples
Layout alignment and design accuracy.
Ø Ensure:
No scratches, dirt, or uneven texture
Proper cutting edge (no burning or hardness)
Compare actual output with approved sample cards and layout.
3. Order Verification & Compliance
Ø Verify order details before and during production:
PO No., SO No., pattern number, material, quantity
Warp/weft yarn codes and colors
Ø Ensure all parameters match:
Machine settings
Sample approval
Customer specifications
4. Machine Setup & Adjustment
Thread warp and weft yarns correctly as per design.
Adjust tension, alignment, and weaving parameters.
Ensure correct needle positioning and yarn feeding.
Maintain proper temperature settings (heating units where applicable).
5. Defect Handling & Reporting
Identify and segregate defective labels. Yarn defects, color variation, incorrect layout, edge issues
Inform supervisor or QC immediately.
Assist in corrective actions and machine adjustments.
Record issues and support NCR (Non-Conformance Reporting) process.
6. Productivity & Efficiency
Achieve daily production targets.
Minimize machine downtime and material wastage.
Maintain optimum machine speed and output quality balance.
7. Housekeeping & Safety
Follow 5S practices around machine and work area.
Ensure safe handling of yarns, beams, and moving machine parts.
Comply with PPE and safety guidelines.
8. Documentation
Maintain production logs:
Output quantity
Machine stoppages
Quality issues
Track material usage and wastage.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of woven label production.
Knowledge of warp/weft yarn handling and weaving principles.
Ability to identify defects and perform basic troubleshooting.
Attention to detail and quality focus.
Basic machine maintenance knowledge is preferred.
Educational Qualification
10th/12th/ITI/Diploma qualification preferred.
Experience in woven label, textile, weaving, or manufacturing industries is an added advantage.
Experience
3-5 years’ experience in woven label production
Hands-on experience with Jakob Müller weaving machines preferred
