Job Title: Special Education Teacher

About the Role
Dreamtime Learning Hub is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to support learners with diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate should be passionate about inclusive education and capable of developing individualized learning strategies to help students achieve their academic, social, and emotional goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess students' learning needs and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Provide one-on-one and small-group instruction tailored to individual student requirements.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and school leadership to support student progress.
- Adapt curriculum, teaching methods, and learning materials to meet diverse learning needs.
- Monitor and document student performance and maintain accurate records.
- Implement behavioral and social-emotional support strategies when required.
- Participate in parent meetings and provide regular progress updates.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Certification/Diploma in Special Education is preferred.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience working with children with special educational needs.
- Strong understanding of learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and other developmental needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff.
- Proficiency in using technology for teaching and documentation.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in inclusive classroom settings.
- Knowledge of differentiated instruction and assistive technologies.
- Strong observation, assessment, and counseling skills.
