We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR & Compliance Executive who can effectively manage both HR operations and statutory compliance requirements.
This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in PF, ESI, labour law compliance, contractor management, and workforce coordination. The position requires strong documentation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with site teams and government authorities.
Important: Candidates must have practical experience in statutory and labour law compliance. Applications without relevant compliance exposure will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities: Statutory & Labour Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws including:
- Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act
- Minimum Wages Act
- Payment of Wages Act
- Building & Other Construction Workers (BOCW) Act
- Maternity Benefit Act
- Shops & Establishments Act
- Manage PF (EPF) and ESI registrations, filings, and challan generation.
- Maintain and renew statutory registrations, licenses, and permits.
- Handle BOCW cess calculations and submissions.
- Ensure contractor and subcontractor compliance documentation is complete and updated.
- Coordinate with Labour Department, PF Office, and ESI authorities for inspections, notices, and compliance matters.
- Maintain audit-ready compliance records and support internal and external audits.
- Monitor changes in labour laws and implement necessary compliance updates.
HR Operations & Workforce Management
- Support manpower planning and workforce deployment across project sites.
- Maintain employee and contract worker records.
- Coordinate onboarding formalities, documentation, ID card issuance, and labour card registrations.
- Assist recruitment and site teams with joining processes.
Attendance, Payroll & MIS
- Monitor attendance, muster rolls, and overtime records.
- Validate attendance and workforce data for payroll processing.
- Support timely wage and salary disbursement as per statutory requirements.
- Prepare HR MIS reports, manpower reports, and compliance dashboards.
Contractor & Vendor Compliance
- Collect and verify compliance documents from labour contractors and subcontractors before site mobilization.
- Review PF, ESI, wage registers, appointment letters, and statutory records on a regular basis.
- Maintain contractor compliance trackers and follow up on pending documentation.
Employee Relations
- Address employee and worker queries related to HR policies, attendance, wages, and benefits.
- Support employee engagement and welfare initiatives at project sites.
- Promote a safe, compliant, and productive work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labour Law, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of HR experience with at least 1 year of hands-on statutory compliance experience.
- Strong knowledge of PF, ESI, labour laws, and contractor compliance.
- Experience in Construction, Infrastructure, Contracting, Manufacturing, or similar industries preferred.
- Ability to handle labour inspections, audits, and statutory documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and HRMS/Payroll systems.
- Good communication skills in Hindi and English.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
