Job Title: Finance Manager
Location: Pune (with US stakeholder interaction)

Role Overview
The Finance Manager will own and lead the company’s end-to-end finance function for GLF India and US entities, ensuring financial governance, compliance, strategic planning, and operational excellence. The role requires deep experience working with US banking clients, US GAAP, and cross-border financial operations in an IT services environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy aligned with business growth and profitability goals.
- Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team on financial planning, forecasting, investments, pricing, and risk management.
- Provide insights and continuously work on optimizing margins, utilization, client profitability, and costs.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Own annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
- Track business performance vs. plan; present MIS, dashboards, and variance analyses.
- Support deal pricing, contract reviews, and RFP financial modeling for US banking clients.
Accounting, Controls & Compliance
- Own accounting operations, month-end and year-end closures for India and US entities.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP / IFRS, Indian statutory requirements, and tax regulations.
- Manage external audits, internal controls (ICFR), and financial risk assessments.
- Handle transfer pricing and cross-border compliance matters.
US Banking & Client Financial Oversight
- Manage financial aspects of contracts with US banks and financial institutions.
- Ensure compliance with client financial, billing, audit, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with delivery and sales teams on revenue recognition (ASC 606), invoicing, and collections.
Treasury, Cash Flow & Working Capital
- Oversee cash flow planning, working capital management, and fund utilization.
- Manage banking relationships, forex exposure, hedging strategies, and fund repatriation.
- Ensure strong controls around receivables, especially for US clients.
People & Vendor Management
- Lead and build a high-performing finance team (Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Payroll).
- Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel, and banking partners.
- Drive process automation and finance transformation initiatives.
Key Requirements
Education & Qualifications
- CA / CPA / CA (inter) or equivalent professional qualification.
- Strong grounding in US accounting standards and financial reporting.
Experience
- 8-12 years of progressive finance experience, preferably in IT services / technology companies.
- Direct experience working with US banking or financial services clients (mandatory).
- Proven exposure to US GAAP, revenue recognition, and cross-border finance operations.
- Experience managing finance teams and working with senior leadership.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of:
- US GAAP / IFRS
- Revenue recognition (ASC 606)
- Transfer pricing & international taxation
- Deal structuring & pricing models
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
