About Emiza
Emiza is transforming logistics with purpose-built tech platforms powering everything from warehouse automation to billing and last-mile tracking. Our systems handle real-world complexities at scale—inventory syncs, order routing, billing logic, SLA engines—and we need a backend developer who thrives in this kind of environment.

Design and develop scalable microservices using js, Java Spring Boot, or Python
-
Work across core business modules like WMS operations, billing automation, and shipment tracking
-
Optimize APIs for performance, security, and maintainability
-
Own service integrations—whether it’s Kafka events, marketplace webhooks, or 3rd party APIs
-
Write clean, testable, and efficient code with a strong focus on data integrity and fault tolerance
-
Collaborate with product, frontend, and QA teams to ship features with full visibility
-
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and performance tuning
-
Help maintain DevOps hygiene: logging, monitoring, alerts, and metrics
What We’re Looking For

3–5 years experience building and scaling backend applications in js, Java (Spring Boot), or Python
-
Solid understanding of microservice architecture, RESTful APIs, and asynchronous systems
-
Experience working with Kafkaor any message/event bus system
-
Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis– must be confident in writing optimized queries and managing schema/data structures
-
Strong grasp of DevOps workflows – GitLab, Jenkins, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes
-
Knowledge of caching strategies, rate-limiting, auth flows, and error handling
-
Exposure to AWS (EC2, Lambda, SQS, S3, etc.) and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
Bonus Points For
-
Experience in logistics, supply chain, WMS, or order lifecycle systems
-
Built or maintained billing, invoicing, or inventory sync modules
-
Hands-on with data streaming or large-scale job processing setups
-
Comfort with domain-driven design or event sourcing patterns
Education Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline. Candidates with strong backend experience and project work may also be considered.
Why Emiza?
