As part of our expansion, we are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our finance team in daily accounting operations.
Position Summary
The Junior Accountant will assist the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and supporting day-to-day accounting activities. This role will involve assisting with accounts payable and receivable, maintaining documentation, supporting project-related accounting, and ensuring compliance with company financial procedures.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Record Maintenance
- Maintain and update financial records in accounting software.
- Assist in recording daily transactions including vendor payments, receipts, and expenses.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Accounts Payable & Receivable Support
- Assist in processing vendor invoices and ensuring timely payments.
- Support the generation of client invoices and follow up on pending payments.
- Help reconcile supplier and client accounts.
Purchase Order Support
- Assist in preparing purchase orders (POs) for vendors as per project requirements.
- Coordinate with procurement and project teams for PO documentation.
Project Expense Tracking
- Support the finance team in tracking project-related expenses.
- Maintain records of materials, vendor payments, and other project costs.
Financial Reporting Assistance
- Assist in preparing basic financial reports and statements.
- Help maintain records required for monthly financial reporting.
Taxation & Compliance Support
- Assist in maintaining records for GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.
- Organize documents required for auditors and tax consultants.
Payroll Support
- Assist the finance team in payroll processing documentation.
- Maintain records of employee reimbursements and deductions.
Documentation & Audit Support
- Maintain organized financial files and records.
- Assist during internal and external audits by providing required documents.
Coordination with Internal Teams
- Work closely with procurement and project teams for invoice and expense verification.
- Support the finance manager in day-to-day financial activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com preferred).
- 2–4 years of accounting experience (freshers with strong accounting knowledge can also apply).
- Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally or similar tools).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Basic understanding of project costing.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Pay: ₹9,363.77 - ₹20,000.00 per month
