Job Title: Medical Gloves Manufacturing Supervisor (Latex & Nitrile)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee the end-to-end manufacturing process of medical-grade examination and surgical gloves. In this role, you will lead the shift team, monitor quality control parameters, and ensure that our safety and hygiene standards comply with strict international regulatory requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Oversight: Manage daily shift operations, including compounding, dipping, leaching, drying, stripping, and packaging processes to meet targeted production quotas.Quality Assurance: Ensure all gloves meet medical-grade specifications regarding pinhole defects, tensile strength, thickness, and elasticity. Implement SPC (Statistical Process Control) and conduct on-line quality checks.Process Monitoring: Closely monitor and adjust process parameters (e.g., temperatures, dipping speeds, compound viscosities, and chlorination).Compliance & Documentation: Ensure strict adherence to GMP, ISO, and local regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate shift logs, Device Master Records, and process validation documents.Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and supervise machine operators and line workers. Assign daily duties, monitor attendance, and conduct performance evaluations.
Safety & Hygiene: Enforce strict workplace health and safety (OHS) regulations, including the proper use of PPE, hygiene protocols, and handling of chemical mixtures.Troubleshooting: Identify and swiftly resolve production bottlenecks, equipment malfunctions, or quality deviations.
Requirements & QualificationsEducation: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Polymer Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related sciences.Experience: 1-5 years of supervisory experience in latex, nitrile, or polymer/medical device manufacturing.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of continuous dipping lines, automated packaging lines, and process controls.Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with FDA regulations, CE marking, and ISO quality management systems.Soft Skills: Strong decision-making skills under pressure, conflict resolution, and excellent communication abilities.
