Sr. Executive - IT Infrastructure
Roles and Responsibilities: -
- Extensive hands-on experience with Network enterprise-class firewalls, routers, and switches preferably on FortiGate Firewall and Forti Manager
- Should have performed analysis and diagnosis of complex networking problems & network designs.
- Should design, plans, and implements security measures to protect data, networks, and computer systems.
- He will oversee preventing data loss and service interruptions in close coordination with system admin team.
- He will be responsible for the computer networks for any security threats or unauthorized users
• Should monitor server and computer network and security software, conduct regular security audits, prepare security status reports, and assist in disaster recovery. • Ability to perform requirements analysis and develop hardware/software solutions to meet the business requirements.
- Should have done installation of hardware and implementation of software and review of network management and monitoring tools.
- Should have strong skills in troubleshooting and resolve complex data network related issues, internetworking.
- Can work on complex problems and provide innovative suggestions for solutions.
- Should have done Configuration and Management of IPSEC Site to Site VPN, Remote-access VPN & SSL VPN
- Configuration and Management of ACLs, NAT, EtherChannel, SPAN, VLAN.
- Respond promptly to service faults and engage internal and external service providers to ensure that faults are resolved as soon as possible.
- Proactive at identification, escalation & resolution of complex problems and handling escalation calls
- Should have used or known ITIL process, ISO 20000 and ISO27000 (incident, problem, and change & configuration management)
- Support the knowledge development of the Network team by sharing knowledge, learning from others, and driving own personal development
• Actively support continuous improvement • Work in a variety of settings, individually or as part of small multi-discipline groups either within the team or in a project setting
- Demonstrate a broad knowledge and understanding of networking technologies including Datacentre ACI, SDWAN, Branch LAN (Wired/Wireless) and related Network Security technologies
- Full product lifecycle management: Operate, Maintain, Manage, and Improve network infrastructure
- Hands-on with NMS tool configuration, reporting and analysis. i.e Everest Infra-ON, Ops Manager, WhatsApp Gold etc…
- Monitoring network performance and ensure system availability and reliability
- Performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations
- Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
- Provide Level-3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
- Work closely with team members to provide quick support & error free environment in close cooperation with L1 & L2 Level support.
- Manage security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
- Deep understanding of networking protocols and how they are used to provide High Availability solutions
- Ability to create and provide detailed documentation and Network drawings for network and Security designs and configurations.
- Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
- Coordination with customers & Vendors for network related problems and providing Remedies, Root Cause Analysis of Faults.
