- Instruction: Plan, structure, and deliver daily lessons that cover curriculum requirements—ranging from basic arithmetic to advanced calculus. [1, 2, 3]
- Student Assessment: Design and invigilate quizzes, tests, and exams. Grade assignments promptly and track long-term academic progress. [1, 2]
- Classroom Management: Maintain a disciplined, safe, and positive learning environment that encourages participation and inquiry. [1, 2, 3]
- Individualized Support: Identify struggling students and provide extra help through one-on-one tutoring or differentiated learning strategies. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
- Communication: Update parents on academic standing and collaborate with faculty and school administration. [1, 2, 3]
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (e.g., a Bachelor of Education/B.Ed in India).
- Licensing: State/National teaching certification or licensure, depending on the region.
- Subject Knowledge: Deep understanding of mathematical concepts and educational methodologies.
