Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and organized Storekeeper to manage inventory, maintain stock records, and ensure efficient handling of materials in the store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing goods while maintaining accuracy and proper documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory levels
- Ensure proper storage of materials to prevent damage or loss
- Issue materials as per authorized requisitions
- Conduct regular stock checks and physical inventory audits
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area
- Prepare reports on stock levels, shortages, and discrepancies
- Coordinate with procurement and accounts departments
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
- Manage scrap or obsolete items as per company procedures
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum qualification: 10th/12th pass or graduate (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in inventory management
- Basic knowledge of inventory software / MS Excel
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic understanding of safety and storage practices
