we are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical drawing skills, a good understanding of architectural planning, and proficiency in relevant design software. This role requires accuracy, creativity, and the ability to translate concepts into precise technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, layouts, and plans using DWG formats.
- Develop working drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
- Assist in architectural planning and design coordination.
- Convert conceptual sketches into technical drawings.
- Ensure drawings comply with building standards, codes, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and site teams for design clarity.
- Maintain drawing records, revisions, and documentation.
Required Skills & Software Knowledge:
- Strong command of architectural DWG drafting.
- Good understanding of planning principles and construction detailing.
- Proficiency in Google SketchUp.
- Working knowledge of MS Word for documentation and reports.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and scaling.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Architecture Drafting / Civil / Architectural Assistantship.
- Prior experience in architectural or construction projects.
