Key Responsibilities
- Assemble robotic automation systems and SPMs according to engineering drawings and BOMs.
- Perform mechanical fitting of machine frames, guideways, shafts, bearings, gearboxes, motors, pneumatic components, and other machine parts.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly layouts, and technical documents.
- Install and align machine components to ensure smooth operation.
- Carry out drilling, tapping, grinding, and minor fabrication work when required.
- Assemble pneumatic systems, cylinders, valves, FRLs, and tubing as per circuit diagrams.
- Support machine testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
- Identify assembly defects and coordinate with design and quality teams for corrective actions.
- Maintain proper documentation of assembly activities.
- Follow 5S, safety procedures, and company quality standards.
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition.
- Assist in machine installation and customer site support whenever required.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of mechanical assembly and fitting techniques.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and understand GD&T basics.
- Experience in robotic automation systems and SPM assembly is preferred.
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems and linear motion components.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and precision alignment.
- Basic troubleshooting skills.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
Qualification
- ITI (Fitter/Mechanic) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
- 2–6 years in mechanical assembly of Robotic Automation Systems, SPMs, Industrial Machinery, or Machine Building.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
