Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Interior Supervisor to oversee and manage day-to-day interior work at project sites.
The Interior Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating workers, contractors, vendors, and site activities to ensure that all interior works are completed according to approved drawings, designs, quality standards, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily interior work at project sites.
- Manage carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, false-ceiling workers, flooring workers, and other site teams.
- Ensure all work is executed according to approved drawings, designs, measurements, and specifications.
- Read and understand interior and architectural drawings.
- Monitor the quality of carpentry, civil, electrical, plumbing, flooring, ceiling, painting, furniture, and finishing works.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, designers, architects, project managers, and clients.
- Plan and allocate manpower according to project requirements.
- Monitor daily site progress and ensure work is completed within the scheduled timeline.
- Check measurements, levels, alignment, finishing, and workmanship.
- Ensure required materials are available at the site and coordinate material deliveries.
- Identify and resolve site-related problems and execution issues.
- Coordinate different trades to avoid delays and clashes between works.
- Maintain daily site reports and provide regular progress updates to management.
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure defects are corrected properly.
- Manage snagging and de-snagging before project completion and handover.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working conditions at the site.
- Follow and enforce company safety rules and site regulations.
- Maintain professional communication with clients and project stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are completed according to the required quality, design, and timeline.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Interior Supervisor / Interior Site Supervisor / Site In-Charge.
- Experience in residential, commercial, office, retail, or turnkey interior projects.
- Good knowledge of interior execution and finishing works.
- Ability to read and understand interior and architectural drawings.
- Good knowledge of carpentry, modular furniture, false ceiling, flooring, painting, electrical, plumbing, and other interior works.
- Strong manpower and contractor management skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Ability to work independently and handle site responsibilities.
- Basic knowledge of site reporting and documentation.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, or other project-related software will be an advantage.
- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction, or a related field will be preferred.
Experience
Preferred: 2–5 years of experience in interior site supervision or interior fit-out execution.
Candidates with strong practical interior site experience may also be considered based on their skills and previous work.
