About the Role :
Pallium India is seeking an exceptional executive leader and institution builder to serve as Chief ExecutiveOfficer (CEO). The CEO will lead Pallium India through its next phase of growth, ensuring the organizationbecomes an increasingly strong, professional, and sustainable institution—built to thrive for generations—while remaining steadfast in its core mission of relieving suffering and upholding human dignity.
Six Core Accountabilities:
- Mission & Strategic Leadership: Translate the Board’s vision into a focused strategy; ensure purposeful growth without mission drift.
- Institution Building: Develop the governance, structures, and processes required to ensure long-term resilience and independence from any single leader.
- Organisational Performance: Integrate clinical, education, advocacy, and research operations under a unified strategy with high standards of accountability.
- People & Leadership: Build a high-performing senior leadership team, foster distributed leadership, champion a culture of compassion, collaboration, and high performance.
- Financial Sustainability & Resource Mobilisation: Build a financially resilient, ethically independent organization; cultivate strategic donor and government relationships.
- External Leadership & Influence: Serve as principal ambassador nationally and internationally; shape policy and advance palliative care integration into healthcare systems.
- Significant senior leadership experience in healthcare, public health, social impact, or a comparable mission-driven organization.
- Proven track record leading a complex, multidisciplinary organization through growth, transformation,or institutional strengthening.
- Demonstrated experience working effectively with Boards, government bodies, donors, and strategic partners.
- Hands-on experience in financial management, team development, and building scalable operational systems.
