We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Factory supervisor to oversee the complete operations of our Vasai manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for production planning, coordination across all departments, process optimisation, team management, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality fire-safety products.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plant Operations & Production Management
- Prepare and execute the daily/weekly production plan, including shift scheduling.
- Monitor production output, efficiency, and adherence to timelines.
- Coordinate with the planning team to ensure availability of raw materials, components, and resources.
- Ensure smooth functioning of all manufacturing processes (FDAS, FDSS, FAS kits, assemblies, harnessing, brackets, etc.).
2. Departmental Oversight
- Lead and supervise all plant-level departments:
- Administration & Housekeeping
- Establish strong inter-departmental communication to resolve bottlenecks quickly.
3. Quality, Compliance & Safety
- Ensure products meet AIS-135, UL/LPCB/EN, and internal QC standards.
- Work closely with QC for in-process inspection, testing, and final approvals.
- Maintain factory safety norms, fire-safety compliance, and statutory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvements and implement SOPs across the plant.
4. Team Leadership & Performance
- Manage and mentor supervisors, operators, technicians, and support staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations, training programs, and skill-upgradation.
- Maintain discipline, punctuality, and accountability across all levels.
5. Inventory & Cost Control
- Oversee inventory levels of RM, WIP, and FG; coordinate with purchase for timely procurement.
- Optimise resource utilisation and reduce wastage, rework, and line downtime.
- Work on cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
6. Vendor & External Coordination
- Coordinate with external agencies for maintenance, calibration, fabrication, and tooling.
- Ensure tooling, jigs, and fixtures are available and maintained for production.
- Support management in vendor negotiations when required.
7. Reporting & Documentation
- Generate daily/weekly MIS reports on production, rejections, manpower, and efficiency.
- Maintain documentation for audits, certifications, and regulatory inspections.
- Report critical issues and improvement suggestions to senior management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering (preferred).
- 5–10 years of experience in factory/plant management, preferably in automotive, electrical, fabrication, or assembly-line environments.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, QC processes, and team management.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
