Job Summary The Director I – Consulting is responsible for leading consulting engagements, driving business transformation initiatives, managing client relationships, and ensuring successful delivery of strategic programs. The role provides thought leadership, develops consulting capabilities, manages financial performance, and supports business growth through innovative solutions and trusted advisory services. Key Responsibilities Strategic Consulting & Advisory Lead consulting engagements across business transformation, digital transformation, operational excellence, and organizational change initiatives. Partner with executive stakeholders to identify business challenges and recommend strategic solutions. Develop consulting frameworks, methodologies, and best practices. Provide thought leadership on emerging industry trends, technologies, and market opportunities. Client Relationship Management Build and maintain executive-level client relationships. Act as a trusted advisor to client leadership teams. Lead executive steering committees, governance reviews, and strategic workshops. Manage customer expectations and ensure high client satisfaction. Practice Leadership Drive growth and maturity of consulting capabilities. Define service offerings, accelerators, frameworks, and reusable assets. Mentor and develop consulting managers, consultants, and subject matter experts. Support recruitment, capability building, and succession planning. Business Development & Growth Support sales pursuits, proposals, RFP responses, and solution development. Identify revenue growth opportunities within existing and new accounts. Contribute to account planning and strategic business expansion initiatives. Participate in executive presentations and client workshops. Financial & Operational Management Own consulting practice financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability. Monitor utilization, revenue realization, and project margins. Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure effective resource planning and workforce optimization. Governance, Risk & Quality Establish governance models and delivery oversight mechanisms. Manage risks, dependencies, and escalation processes. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, contractual obligations, and industry regulations. Drive quality assurance and consulting excellence standards. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Technology, or related field. Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred. 15+ years of experience in consulting, transformation, program management, or business advisory roles. Proven experience managing enterprise-scale consulting engagements. Experience working with senior executives and C-level stakeholders.
