About the Role
We're looking for a STEM / Makerspace Facilitator to manage our Innovation Lab at a reputed school in Nolambur, Chennai.
This is more than a teaching role, it's an opportunity to inspire curiosity, encourage creativity, and make learning exciting through project-based, experiential education.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging hands-on STEM learning sessions
- Manage the school's Innovation/Maker Lab and its resources
- Facilitate projects in Science, Robotics, Coding, Electronics, AI, and Engineering
- Mentor students for exhibitions, competitions, and innovation challenges
- Create lesson plans and activity schedules aligned with the curriculum
- Maintain lab equipment, kits, and learning materials
- Support teachers in integrating STEM into classroom learning
- Foster creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
What We're Looking For
✔ Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Education, or a related field
✔ Strong foundation in STEM concepts
✔ Experience in STEM education, Robotics, Maker Spaces, or Innovation Labs is preferred
✔ Excellent communication skills in English & Tamil
✔ Passion for working with children and delivering hands-on learning experiences
✔ Organized, proactive, and eager to learn
