Job Summary
Cake to Home is looking for a responsible, punctual, and customer-friendly Delivery Boy to ensure timely and safe delivery of cakes and other bakery products. The ideal candidate should handle products with care, follow delivery schedules, and provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up cakes and bakery products from partner bakeries.
- Deliver orders safely and on time to customers.
- Handle cakes carefully to prevent damage during transportation.
- Follow the assigned delivery routes efficiently.
- Contact customers before delivery when required.
- Update delivery status through the delivery app or assigned system.
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with customers.
- Report delivery issues, delays, or customer concerns to the support team.
- Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean and in good working condition.
- Follow all traffic rules and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification: SSLC / Higher Secondary.
- Valid two-wheeler driving license.
- Own two-wheeler with valid Registration Certificate (RC), Insurance, and Pollution Certificate.
- Smartphone with internet access and GPS.
- Good knowledge of local routes and navigation apps (Google Maps).
- Ability to work on weekends and holidays.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physically fit and able to travel throughout the day.
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in food delivery or courier services.
- Basic knowledge of mobile applications.
- Time management and punctuality.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Honest, reliable, and responsible.
Working Hours
- Flexible shifts
- Morning, Afternoon, and Evening shifts
- Weekend and festive day availability is mandatory.
