Key Responsibilities
Patient Care
- Examine, diagnose, and treat patients in wards, emergency units, and other assigned departments.
- Conduct regular patient rounds and monitor clinical progress.
- Perform initial assessments and prepare treatment plans under consultant guidance.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide immediate care.
- Prescribe medications and treatments as per hospital protocols and consultant instructions.
- Assist consultants during clinical procedures and patient management.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records.
- Prepare admission notes, progress notes, discharge summaries, and treatment documentation.
- Ensure compliance with medical, legal, and hospital documentation standards.
- Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and quality assurance protocols.
Coordination & Communication
- Collaborate with consultants, nursing staff, and allied healthcare professionals for effective patient care.
- Communicate patient conditions and treatment plans to patients and their families.
- Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and training programs.
- Escalate critical cases to senior doctors and specialists when required.
Qualifications
- MBBS from a recognized medical institution.
- Valid registration with the State Medical Council / National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Relevant clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Freshers with completed internship may also apply.

- Sound knowledge of medical ethics and patient care standards
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
