Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer – Open Access Solar & BESS to manage the end-to-end execution of Open Access solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in solar EPC execution, electrical system design, and project coordination, ensuring successful project delivery from planning through commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute Open Access Solar and Solar + BESS projects from planning to commissioning.
- Prepare and review Electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), AC/DC system designs, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and site execution teams to ensure timely project completion.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals and project documentation.
- Conduct site surveys and feasibility assessments for new Open Access projects.
- Support Operations & Maintenance (O&M) teams during project handover and post-commissioning activities.
- Ensure compliance with Open Access regulations, interconnection requirements, and project quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Travel to project sites across India as required.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- 4–5 years of experience in Open Access Solar project execution.
- Strong knowledge of Electrical SLDs, AC/DC systems, and BOM preparation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D & 3D.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Required Skills
- Strong project planning and execution skills.
- Excellent technical knowledge of Open Access Solar and BESS projects.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including design, procurement, and site teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Fluency in English and Hindi. Marathi will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel frequently to project sites across India.
