VPMM College of Nursing is inviting applications for the position of Principal. We are looking for a dynamic, experienced, and visionary academic leader who can provide effective leadership in nursing education, academic administration, research, and institutional development. The ideal candidate should be committed to maintaining high standards of education and fostering excellence in teaching, research, and clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide academic and administrative leadership to the Nursing College.
- Ensure compliance with Indian Nursing Council (INC), Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, and other regulatory requirements.
- Lead curriculum planning, academic quality assurance, and institutional development initiatives.
- Supervise faculty recruitment, development, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
- Strengthen partnerships with hospitals and healthcare organizations for clinical training.
- Promote excellence in nursing education, research, and student development.
- Oversee day-to-day academic and administrative operations of the institution.
- Foster a culture of innovation, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Nursing (Preferred).
- M.Sc. Nursing in a relevant specialty.
- Qualification as per Indian Nursing Council (INC) norms.
- Strong academic and administrative credentials.
Experience
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in nursing education, academic administration, or institutional leadership.
- Experience in curriculum planning, faculty management, accreditation, and regulatory compliance is preferred.
- Candidates with leadership experience in a recognized Nursing College will be given preference.
