Job Overview
Study Alpha Academy is looking for motivated and result-oriented Academic Counselors to guide students in selecting the right academic and competitive examination programs. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills with the ability to convert enquiries into admissions while maintaining a professional and student-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents regarding courses, admissions, and career opportunities.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, WhatsApp enquiries, emails, and website leads.
- Understand students' academic backgrounds and recommend suitable courses.
- Explain course structure, schedules, fees, and admission procedures.
- Follow up with prospective students until the admission process is completed.
- Maintain enquiry records and update the CRM or student database.
- Coordinate with the academic and administrative teams for smooth onboarding.
- Build long-term relationships with students and parents.
- Achieve monthly admission and enrollment targets.
- Resolve admission-related queries in a professional manner.
Eligibility
- Graduate in any discipline (Postgraduates preferred).
- Excellent spoken and written English, Bengali, or Hindi.
- Strong communication and convincing skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Google Sheets, Email, CRM).
- Prior experience in educational counseling, sales, or customer support is preferred but not mandatory.

Area of Work
The Academic Counselor will work with students preparing for:
- School and Board Examinations
- Undergraduate and Postgraduate Entrance Examinations
- Government Competitive Examinations
- Engineering, Medical, Management, Law, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Commerce, and other specialized courses offered by Study Alpha Academy.
Scope of Work
- Student counseling and career guidance.
- Admission management and enrollment support.
- Lead generation and lead conversion.
- Student relationship management.
- Coordination with faculty and academic departments.
- Participation in seminars, webinars, educational events, and promotional campaigns.
- Maintaining admission reports and performance records.
- Supporting institutional growth through quality counseling and excellent student service.
