The Deputy General Manager – National Sales will be responsible for driving pan-India sales strategy and execution for the Lightning Structure (HMP) business. The role demands strong leadership, deep B2B industrial sales expertise, and the ability to scale revenue by building high-performing sales teams, strategic customer relationships, and robust channel networks.

Define and execute the national sales strategy for Lightning Structure (HMP) products aligned with organizational goals.

Drive top-line revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability across India.

Identify new industry segments, EPC opportunities, and key accounts in infrastructure, power, renewables, industries, and government projects.

Lead annual sales planning, forecasting, budgeting, and target setting.

Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing national sales team, including regional and key account managers.

Set KPIs, review performance regularly, and ensure capability development of the sales force.

Foster a strong sales culture focused on accountability, results, and customer satisfaction.

Manage strategic national accounts, consultants, EPCs, and large institutional customers.

Strengthen and expand channel partner, dealer, and distributor networks across regions.

Negotiate and close high-value contracts, tenders, and long-term agreements.

Track market trends, competitor activity, pricing dynamics, and customer feedback.

Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine product positioning, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies.

Support new product launches and solution-based selling initiatives.

Work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, finance, quality, and projects teams to ensure timely execution and customer satisfaction.

Spend the initial 6 months at the Matar facility to gain in-depth understanding of products, processes, costing, and capacity planning.

Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing guidelines, ethical sales practices, and statutory requirements.

Represent the company professionally at industry forums, exhibitions, and customer meets.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil preferred).

MBA / PGDM in Sales & Marketing will be an added advantage.

Minimum 15+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in a senior/national sales leadership role.

Strong exposure to B2B manufacturing-driven sales, preferably in:

Lightning protection systems

Structural steel / HMP / fabrication

Power, infrastructure, renewables, or industrial products

Proven track record of scaling national businesses and leading large sales teams

Strong negotiation, contract management, and key account handling skills

Deep understanding of project-based and EPC-driven sales

Strategic thinking with hands-on execution capability

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

Willingness to travel extensively across India
