Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Import Executive role based in New Delhi. The Import Executive will coordinate end-to-end import operations, including shipment planning, documentation, and tracking to ensure timely and compliant deliveries. Daily responsibilities include liaising with customers, customs brokers, carriers, and internal teams to manage import clearances, resolve operational issues, and maintain up-to-date shipment status. The role involves preparing and reviewing import documents, monitoring regulatory requirements, and ensuring adherence to customs and trade compliance standards. The Import Executive will also handle customer inquiries, provide shipment updates, support export-related activities when required, and contribute to process improvements for greater efficiency and service quality.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Import and Import Logistics processes, documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
- Experience in freight forwarding, international logistics, or courier operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with customs regulations, INCO terms, and related statutory requirements.
- Proficiency with MS Office and basic logistics/ERP or shipment-tracking systems.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Fluent in English.
- Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month (commensurate with experience and qualifications).
