Role Summary
The Student Counselling Psychologist supports students' academic performance, emotional well-being, and personal development through assessments, counselling, and individualized intervention plans. The role focuses on identifying learning challenges, monitoring student progress, and addressing concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues to help students achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions with students.
- Assess academic, emotional, and behavioral needs using appropriate assessment tools.
- Monitor student performance and recommend intervention strategies.
- Support students dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and other mental health concerns.
- Develop personalized academic and well-being improvement plans.
- Collaborate with faculty and parents (where appropriate) to support student development.
- Maintain confidential records and ensure ethical counselling practices.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Psychology, Counselling, Clinical Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience in student counselling, psychological assessments, and academic guidance is preferred.
- Strong communication, empathy, assessment, and counselling skills.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
