Role Overview
● Own the end-to-end production of long-form YouTube videos, from research and scripting to shoot execution and post-production coordination. ● Create engaging, retention-driven content that aligns with YouTube best practices and audience behavior.
Key Responsibilities
● Write high-retention scripts for 8–20 minute YouTube videos. ● Conduct in-depth research and fact-check information before scripting. ● Simplify complex topics into engaging, easy-to-understand narratives. ● Structure videos with strong hooks, pacing, storytelling arcs, and visual cues. ● Brief hosts/talent before and during shoots. ● Direct shoot setups and coordinate on-ground production activities. ● Collaborate with editors by providing clear editing notes and creative direction. ● Develop compelling title, thumbnail, and hook ideas to improve CTR and audience retention. ● Analyze YouTube performance metrics and use insights to improve future content.
Required Skills
● Excellent scriptwriting skills for long-form YouTube content. ● Strong research and analytical abilities. ● Understanding of YouTube retention, watch time, and audience engagement strategies. ● Experience managing or supporting video shoots. ● Familiarity with Google Docs, Notion, Frame.io, and YouTube Studio Analytics. ● Ability to work collaboratively with creators, producers, and editors. Ideal Candidate ● Thinks like both a storyteller and a producer. ● Has scripted for successful YouTube channels or has grown a YouTube channel personally. ● Comfortable making script changes during shoots based on production requirements. ● Understands what drives YouTube clicks, watch time, and viewer retention. ● Adaptable, creative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced content environment.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
