Position Overview: An Assistant Professor in Aerospace Engineering is responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, conducting research, guiding students, and contributing to the academic community. Key Responsibilities:
Teaching and Instruction:
- Deliver lectures and conduct laboratory sessions for undergraduate and graduate courses in aerospace engineering.
- Develop and update curriculum and course materials.
- Assess and grade students’ performance through exams, assignments, and projects.
- Provide academic advising and support to students.
Research:
- Conduct independent and collaborative research in aerospace engineering and related fields.
- Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at conferences.
- Secure research funding through grants and partnerships.
- Supervise and mentor graduate students and research assistants.
Service:
- Participate in departmental, college, and university committees.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and programs.
- Engage in community outreach and industry collaboration.
- Assist in organizing academic events, such as seminars and workshops.
