Internship Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Design & Estimation Intern to support our Design & Estimation team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to engineering design, estimation, project documentation, AutoCAD drafting, and project coordination activities related to fire protection systems and international projects.
The ideal candidate should be eager to learn, possess strong technical aptitude, and be interested in building a career in engineering design and estimation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Design & Estimation Engineer in day-to-day project activities.
- Support the preparation of quantity take-offs, BOQs, and estimation documents.
- Assist in reviewing project drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Help update project information, progress status, and records in the ERP system.
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations, technical documents, and product information.
- Support the preparation of technical submittals and project documentation.
- Assist in preparing and updating AutoCAD drawings under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Maintain project files, drawings, and documentation in an organized manner.
- Follow up on pending tasks and assist in project coordination activities.
- Support communication and coordination between different departments to ensure smooth project execution.
- Perform other engineering and administrative tasks assigned by the Design & Estimation team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (Completed or Pursuing Final Year) in Mechanical, Electrical, EEE, Fire & Safety Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
