Role Overview
We are looking for an ambitious and tech-savvy Junior AI Artist to join our production team at WillStar Films. This is an entry-level role perfect for freshers or early-career visual artists who are passionate about generative AI and eager to build a career in next-generation filmmaking.
Working directly under the guidance of our AI Artist Lead, you will execute daily shot lists, turning visual design bibles into stunning AI images and cinematic motion clips using the WillStar Films AI Production Pipeline. If you love experimenting with prompt engineering, have a strong eye for visual detail, and want to help create feature films and web series, this role is for you.
Work Setup

- Scope: Long-Form Feature Films (30–100 min) & Web Series
Key Responsibilities
- Asset & Image Generation: Generate characters, costumes, environments, props, and keyframes using Nano Banana Pro/2 according to approved concept bibles and shot lists.
- Video Motion Generation: Convert static visual assets into smooth, dynamic motion shots using AI video tools like Kling 3.0 and Seedance 2.0.
- First-Pass Quality Control (Level-1 QC): Review your generated assets to ensure they match character designs, lighting, and composition standards before submitting them to the AI Artist Lead.
- Prompt Iteration & Experimentation: Test and refine prompts under the guidance of senior artists to solve visual glitches, morphing artifacts, or consistency issues.
- Pipeline Compliance & Organization: Strictly follow naming conventions, folder structures, and delivery schedules specified in the WillStar Films - AI Production Pipeline.
Key Qualifications
- Passion for Generative AI: Strong hands-on familiarity with modern AI image and video generation tools (e.g., Nano Banana, Kling, Seedance, Midjourney, Runway, or Leonardo AI) - built through personal projects, coursework, or internships.
- Visual & Aesthetic Eye: Understanding of basic visual storytelling concepts, including camera framing, composition, lighting, color theory, and perspective.
- Prompt Literacy: Ability to write clear, descriptive text prompts and utilize image-to-image/image-to-video techniques effectively.
- Bilingual Comprehension: Ability to understand visual concepts, story notes, and script descriptions in both Hindi and English.
- Adaptability & Speed: Willingness to learn rapidly, implement feedback quickly, and work comfortably in a fast-paced creative studio environment.
Nice-to-Haves (Good to Have, but Not Mandatory)
- Prior experience or internship in AI art generation, video editing, animation, or VFX.
- Basic knowledge of image retouching tools (Photoshop, Canva, Photopea) for quick fixes or mask creation.
- Educational background in Design, Film, Animation, Fine Arts, or Digital Media.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Chinchwad, Pune, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
