Brief Job Description:
As a Sr. Manager Materials and Manufacturing Planning you will provide leadership, direction and ensures strategic deployment of materials management and inventory programs across Line of Businesses and Regions. Responsibilities include amongst others; forecast management and S&OP review, production planning, materials planning and purchasing. Inventory planning and reviews with Plants and the Regions. Developing and monitoring of Materials programs to improve delivery performance and increase Inventory Turns (ITO).
On the strategy side this function will work with Procurement and Logistics to set material plans (a plan for each item) driven by the market need of Finish Good and Commodity strategy.
The position will lead also the regional central Logistics Operations as complementary to the Plant and Markets operational logistics and Procurement, to manage central control tower for escalations, define SOP for logistics operators, set up and onboarding of TMS users (suppliers and internal users) and claim management.
This key position operates in a matrix organizational structure and works closely with Sales Operations and Demand Management, Regional Operations Leaders and Procurement and Logistics and the COEs.

- Develop a consistent capacity & material planning for factories to match demand in the long term. Participating in long-range planning and budget preparation.
- Facilitate Feedback to SI&OP (operations side) during executive meetings.
- Work closely with business partners (market, manufacturing, finance, procurement), customers and suppliers to meet or exceed customer needs.
- Drive the escalation process in case of critical issues linked to availability or cash flow.
- Optimize standard system setup to structurally and continuously improve results.
- Ensure continuous improvement activities and identify possible synergies with factory organization.
- Support talent management process (selection, development and career path).
- Ensure appropriate development, training and coaching for the direct reports.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the entire team.
- Ensure communication of vision and strategy for his area of responsibility above and below within the organization.
Qualifications:
Required/ Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 12 years of experience with increasing responsibilities within Operations and Materials.
- BS degree, Engineering or Business Management.
- MBA degree desired.
