JOB SUMMARY
The QC / Lab In-charge is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of quality control within the
laboratory. This role involves specialized wax analysis, mastering advanced analytical instruments, ensuring
global quality compliance (ISO/IATF), and leading a team toward operational excellence. The candidate will
ensure 100% precision in testing while driving continuous improvement through data trending and rigorous
problem-solving.
DETAILED KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Core Technical Operations & Wax Analysis
Execute and oversee specialized testing procedures including Congealing Point, Drop Melting Point, and
Freezing Point analysis.
Perform hands-on operation of Gas Chromatography (GC) and conduct detailed carbon distribution
analysis to ensure product integrity.
Manage the calibration, maintenance, and proper handling of all laboratory instruments to ensure zero
equipment-related errors.
2. Quality Management & Compliance
Enforce strict adherence to ISO 9001 (QMS), IATF, ISO 14001 (EMS), and ISO 45001 (OH&S)
standards across all lab activities.
Ensure all operations and documentation follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and internal
quality protocols.
Lead the laboratory team during internal, customer-specific, and third-party regulatory quality audits.
3. Documentation & Analytical Reporting
Prepare, review, and authorize Test Reports, Certificates of Analysis (COAs), and Standard Operating
Procedures (SOPs).
Utilize data trending analysis of test results to proactively identify process variations and potential quality
risks.
Lead investigations into Out of Specification (OOS) results and implement robust Corrective and
Preventive Actions (CAPA).
4. Strategic Collaboration & Problem Solving
Coordinate closely with Production, QA, and R&D teams to resolve quality issues and support product
trials.
Drive a culture of documentation discipline and a compliance-oriented mindset within the laboratory
department.
TECHNICAL MASTERY & COMPETENCIES
In-depth knowledge of specialized testing procedures for Wax and Paraffin products.
Hands-on experience with Gas Chromatography (GC) method control and interpretation.
Expertise in IATF and integrated ISO systems.
Strong analytical skills for trend analysis and OOS investigation.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per month
