Job Title: School Helper
Role Summary:
Provide general support to teachers and staff in maintaining a clean, safe, and smoothly running school environment. Assist with classroom upkeep, children's basic needs, and day-to-day school operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of classrooms, washrooms, and common areas
- Assist children with toileting, hand-washing, and hygiene as needed
- Help serve and clear snacks/meals; clean dining areas after use
- Support teachers during ,nap time, outdoor play, and transitions
- Assist in setting up and clearing classroom materials
- Help with laundry, linen change (bedding/napkins), and storage organization
- Support during arrival and dismissal — helping children with bags, shoes, and lining up
- Run errands within the school premises as required (carrying materials, messages, supplies)
- Report any maintenance issues, breakages, or safety concerns to the coordinator
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards at all times
- Assist with sanitization of toys, mats, and equipment
Requirements:
- Basic literacy preferred (not mandatory)
- Prior experience working in a school/daycare is a plus
- Patient, caring, and reliable attitude toward children
- Willingness to do physical/manual tasks (cleaning, lifting, carrying)
- Good hygiene habits and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Pay: ₹15,000.00 per month
