Key Responsibilities
- Prepare AutoCAD drawings as per instructions from design engineers.
- Work on plans, layouts, sections, profiles, and detailed drawings.
- Modify and update drawings based on site data, design changes, and client comments.
- Prepare civil infrastructure drawings such as water supply, sewerage, storm water, roads, buildings, and utility layouts.
- Coordinate with design, survey, and site teams for drawing-related inputs.
- Maintain proper file naming, layers, drawing standards, and documentation.
- Convert survey data, sketches, PDFs, and markups into AutoCAD drawings.
- Support preparation of BOQ, quantity take-off, and drawing registers when required.
Required Skills
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
- Basic knowledge of civil engineering drawings.
- Understanding of layers, blocks, dimensions, scales, layouts, and plotting.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
- Willingness to learn new software and technical processes.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in water supply, sewerage, storm water, road, building, or infrastructure drawings.
- Knowledge of Civil 3D, GIS, Google Earth, or survey drawings will be an added advantage.
- Ability to prepare longitudinal sections, cross sections, and pipe network drawings.
- Knowledge of quantity calculation from drawings.
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or relevant field.
- Candidates with AutoCAD certification will be preferred.
- Freshers with strong AutoCAD knowledge can also apply.
