We are currently looking for an experienced IBDP French Tutor to conduct one-to-one online classes for students.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced French tutor with proven experience teaching the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP). The ideal candidate should have strong command of the French language, a thorough understanding of the IBDP French curriculum, and the ability to prepare students for both internal and external assessments.
Responsibilities
- Teach IBDP French through one-to-one online classes.
- Follow the student's IBDP French syllabus and academic requirements.
- Develop students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
- Help students improve vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and communication.
- Prepare students for IBDP assessments and examinations.
- Support students with assignments, revision, and exam preparation.
- Help students develop effective strategies for written and oral assessments.
- Identify learning gaps and adapt lessons according to individual student needs.
- Track student progress and provide feedback when required.
- Conduct engaging, interactive, and structured online lessons.
RequirementsMust Have
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in French, Languages, Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching IBDP French.
- Strong understanding of the IBDP curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Excellent command of spoken and written French.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Prior experience conducting online one-to-one classes.
- Ability to work with international students.
- Stable internet connection, laptop/desktop, webcam, headset, and a quiet teaching environment.
Preferred
- Experience teaching IBDP French B and/or French ab initio.
- Experience preparing students for IBDP examinations and assessments.
- Experience with internal assessment/oral preparation.
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and online whiteboards.
- Previous experience teaching students from international schools.
