We are looking for a Business Development Executive with hands-on experience in Upwork and other freelance platforms to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should be confident in identifying opportunities, writing winning proposals, communicating with international clients, and converting leads into successful projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify relevant project opportunities on Upwork, Guru, Freelancer, PeoplePerHour, and similar platforms.
- Write personalized, persuasive, and high-converting proposals based on client requirements.
- Communicate with prospective clients through chat, calls, and video meetings.
- Understand project requirements and coordinate with the technical team for accurate estimations.
- Negotiate pricing, project scope, timelines, and contract terms.
- Build long-term relationships with international clients.
- Maintain and optimize company profiles on freelance platforms.
- Track proposal performance and continuously improve bidding strategies.
- Meet monthly revenue and project acquisition targets.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in IT business development through Upwork or similar freelance marketplaces.
- Strong understanding of website development, mobile applications, UI/UX, SEO, digital marketing, and software development services.
- Excellent English communication (written and verbal).
- Ability to write customized proposals instead of using templates.
- Strong negotiation and client-handling skills.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and communicate them effectively to the development team.
- Self-motivated, organized, and target-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using CRM tools for lead management.
- Knowledge of proposal strategy, competitor analysis, and pricing.
- MBA or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
- Existing experience managing Upwork Agency profiles is an added advantage.
