IAM Operations-Support Technician-Application & Tool Support

The opportunity
Identity and Access Management (IAM) organization, a part of Information Security which, enables over 400,000 individuals across 140+ countries to access systems and information securely. As a member of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team this position will contribute towards execution of an IAM roadmap that meets security requirements, including but not limited to security for, a complex Active Directory (AD) environment, hybrid cloud deployment, mobile computing, policy driven security, SSO, identity lifecycle management, and federation focusing on multiple protocols.

Your key responsibilities
The IAM Application & Tool Support Technician is responsible to support and maintain IAMs internal Applications and Tools in an efficient, secure manner. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, providing L2 support services for technologies including MS Access Tool used for shared folder access management, PowerShell Scripts, Power Platform, SailPoint IIQ, Active Directory/Entra ID user and group management and other supporting technologies.
Acts as second and third tier (Levels 2 + 3) technical support for customer account inquiries in effectively resolving or escalating incidents and inquiries related to access or account management services support across multiple environments and technology platforms.
Resolves Azure Active Directory (AAD) sync issues and account provisioning activities such as clearing sync conflicts and passwords and user IDs required for access to an IT application, system or resource.
Conducts operation-level troubleshooting activities to identify and implement efficient incident resolution action that minimizes end user and/or system downtime.
Conducts proper root cause analysis and make recommendations to improve IAM processes or prevent future occurrence of end user access issues.
Skills and attributes for success
Basic analytical skills are required to probe for understanding and address as appropriate Active Directory user and groups management issues.
Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platforms (Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Eagerness to learn and grow professionally within IAM domain.
Driving the priority and time management of own efforts to support/resolve assigned activities and communicate results and findings to end users and management as necessary.
Ability to make sound decisions in addressing end-user’s access and other security related issues and to recommend improvements to address security issues or gaps.
To qualify for the role you must have
Strong creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to think outside the box and develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, basic understanding in creating dashboards, reports, and data models using Power BI to design and develop applications using Power Apps.
Interest in AI (particularly MS Copilot) and machine learning applications in data analytics and knowledge in basic programming (e.g., PowerShell, Python, R) are advantageous.
Time management skills to prioritize workload and work through assignments and activities with efficiency and minimal supervision
Solid advanced interpersonal skills to deals effectively with individual, group, or situational conflicts through direct interaction with end users.
Strong oral communication skills in the English language to work effectively with end users and IT peers.
Ideally, you’ll also have
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
Approximately 1 to 3 years of Security Administration or Identity Provisioning experience in support of IT products or security administration and working knowledge of large IT organization operations.
