PRIMARY ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To design experiences of Newgen products and applications with a goal to create a positive
impact on productivity and business value of every product.
Own the User Experience for a large and complex B2B product, including planning & monitoring
of activities & deliverables.
Oversee the product deliverables that shall include Information Architecture, Task-mapping,
adapt design based on Analytics & User feedback.
Effectively present the concept to the business stakeholders, validate & translate their product
expectations.
Ensure that the UX deliverables are inline with the business needs and they are built
considering the technology aspect.
Take the product to next level – beginning to implementation – through R&D and by working
closely with the team of interaction designers, visual designers, engineering team, quality
assurance and product owners.
REQUIRED SKILL SET
Knowledge of technology, and its impact on the feasibility of design solutions, including the
capabilities and limitations of web and mobile platforms.
Managing and mentoring team of Researchers, Interaction Designers, Visual Designers, Graphic
Designers with a focus on learning and growth.
Creating and maintaining design systems to support various product lines with focus on
consistency.
Tracking and managing multiple ongoing projects across departments, with exceptional
attention to detail.
Conducting regular design reviews within the team.
Ensuring that the UX team works seamlessly with Technical teams using Agile way of working.
Being a design evangelist internally and externally.
Working closely during the hiring of designers and bring in the right talent with various skillsets,
as and when needed.
Having hands-on experience with design tools, and a good understanding of design methods
and processes.
Awareness on B2B design patterns, and how to apply them in a variety of contexts.
Working in collaboration with product owners, stakeholders in determining the business
requirements and converting them into design opportunities.
Communicating and evangelizing the importance of User Experience and related practices
across the organisation.
Understanding of BFSI space can be an added value.
Strong, creative, out of the box thinking. Open to exploring the evolving B2B/enterprise space.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s to Advanced Degree in Technology/Design, or along with a Bachelor’s degree,
relevant certification from a reputed design institute.
12-15 years of design experience with 5+ years in Enterprise/B2B industry.
Should have worked in B2B space, with a good grasp on the nuances of enterprise UX way of
working.
Led and managed a team of at least 10 designers.
