Job Purpose:
To oversee, execute, and monitor HVAC and utility works at the project site as per approved drawings and specifications. Ensure timely completion, quality standards, and safety compliance of mechanical services related to HVAC, chilled water systems, compressed air, steam, process utilities, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
· Execute mechanical (HVAC/utility) works at site as per GFC drawings and project specifications.
· Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, and client engineers for day-to-day site activities.
· Ensure timely installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems (AHU, FCU, ducting, chilled water piping, etc.) and utility systems (compressed air, steam, process piping, etc.).
· Verify material deliveries, check quality, and ensure proper storage as per standards.
· Prepare daily progress reports, manpower planning, and track work completion.
· Conduct site measurements, material take-off, and ensure proper material consumption.
· Follow and ensure strict adherence to safety standards and PPE compliance at site.
· Raise RFIs, conduct internal quality checks, and support in third-party inspections.
· Attend coordination meetings with civil, electrical, and other services.
· Support documentation work related to as-built drawings, material reconciliation, testing records, etc.
· Monitor subcontractor performance and escalate delays/issues proactively.
Key Skills & Competencies:
· Good knowledge of HVAC systems and utility systems (pumps, AHUs, ducting, piping, insulation).
· Ability to read mechanical drawings and understand BOQs/specs.
· Site execution planning, material management, and team coordination.
· Familiarity with safety practices and quality standards.
· Strong communication and documentation skills.
Qualifications:
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in HVAC and utility execution (preferably in pharma / cleanroom / industrial projects)
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
