Job Overview
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Video Editor Intern who is passionate about storytelling through video. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience in editing content for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and other digital platforms while working in a fast-paced content production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form and long-form videos for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and other digital platforms.
- Create engaging reels, YouTube Shorts, and promotional videos.
- Add transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, sound effects, background music, and color correction to enhance video quality.
- Trim and organize raw footage into compelling stories that match the brand's style.
- Design or assist in creating thumbnails and basic graphics for digital content.
- Collaborate with content creators, producers, and the social media team to deliver high-quality videos on time.
- Organize project files, footage, and media assets for efficient workflow.
- Ensure videos meet platform-specific formats and technical requirements.
- Stay updated with the latest editing techniques, viral trends, and social media content styles.
- Revise edits based on feedback and maintain consistency across all content.
- Assist with other post-production and multimedia tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar editing software.
- Understanding of video formats, aspect ratios, and export settings for social media platforms.
- Creative storytelling skills with a strong eye for pacing, composition, and visual aesthetics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong willingness to learn, take feedback, and improve editing skills.
- A portfolio or sample work is preferred.
