Store Manager – Retail Store

Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible, customer-focused, and performance-driven Store Manager to manage the daily operations of our retail store at KOPA Mall, Pune.
The Store Manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets, supervising the store team, maintaining inventory and visual merchandising standards, handling customer concerns, and ensuring smooth store operations according to company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Open and close the store according to standard operating procedures.
- Ensure POS backup, Daily Sales Reports, and other operational reports are updated every day.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and improve store conversions.
- Supervise, train, motivate, and manage the store team.
- Assign daily tasks and monitor employee performance.
- Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
- Handle billing, exchanges, alterations, refunds, and customer follow-ups.
- Manage stock inward, stock outward, transfers, and inventory records.
- Conduct weekly stock audits and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and overall store presentation.
- Ensure the store is clean, organised, and ready for customers at all times.
- Prepare monthly employee rosters and manage attendance.
- Send daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the brand, mall management, and company management.
- Coordinate with the brand team, mall management, IT department, vendors, and service providers.
- Monitor cash transactions, petty cash, card payments, and daily reconciliations.
- Ensure all company policies, mall guidelines, and operational procedures are followed.
- Support promotional campaigns, store events, and seasonal sales activities.
- Perform other store-related responsibilities assigned by management.
Required Skills

- Knowledge of billing systems, POS software, inventory, and reporting.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, email, and daily reporting.
- Ability to work under pressure during weekends, holidays, and peak hours.
Education and Experience
- Graduate or undergraduate candidates may apply.
- Previous experience in retail store operations is preferred.
- Experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Floor Manager, Retail Supervisor, or Senior Sales Executive will be an advantage.
- Freshers with strong communication and leadership skills may also be considered for a junior position.
Work ScheduleMonday to Friday
- First Shift: 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM
- Second Shift: 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM
Saturday and Sunday
- Shift Timing: 12:30 PM to 10:00 PM
Employees will receive one weekly off between Monday and Friday.
Salary and Benefits
- Salary will be credited on the 1st of every month.
- Salary will be decided according to the candidate’s experience, skills, and interview performance.
