What You’ll Build:
- Distributed backend services and APIs.
- Agent orchestration platforms and long-running workflows.
- Enterprise data ingestion frameworks and connectors.
- Highly observable, resilient cloud-native systems.
- Infrastructure that powers AI applications at scale.
Problems You’ll Tackle:
- State management and failure recovery.
- Event-driven systems and orchestration.
- High-throughput APIs and data ingestion.
- AI infrastructure and platform reliability.
- Cost optimization and large-scale orchestration.
Job Responsibilities:
- Own platform capabilities end-to-end.
- Design and build resilient distributed systems.
- Develop scalable backend services and APIs.
- Improve system reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Raise engineering standards and mentor other engineers.
- Build and operate production-grade systems with a focus on scalability and reliability.
- Design solutions for complex engineering challenges involving distributed systems, data processing, and AI infrastructure.
What We’re Looking For:
- 7+ years of experience building production backend systems.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and deep proficiency in Python.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, APIs, MCP, databases, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience operating systems at scale.
- Experience with observability, monitoring, and incident response.
- Strong understanding of system design, reliability engineering, and backend architecture.
Strong Plus:
- Experience with AWS, Celery, and Redis.
- Experience with OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, Neo4j, AI infrastructure, and enterprise integrations.
- Experience in platform engineering and data pipeline development.
- Exposure to building infrastructure supporting AI-driven applications.
