Job Role: Sr. Store Executive
Job Responsibilities & Skills:
- Receive raw materials, consumables, and finished goods as per purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Inspect received materials for quantity and visible quality before acceptance.
- Prepare and maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Material Issue Slips (MIS), and other store documentation.
- Store materials systematically using proper identification, labeling, and bin locations.
- Issue materials to production departments based on approved requisitions.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/software or manual registers.
- Monitor stock levels and inform the purchase department about reorder requirements.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock verification and assist in annual physical inventory.
- Reconcile physical stock with system records and investigate discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of steel sections, plates, fasteners, welding consumables, paints, and other PEB materials.
- Maintain FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, quality, and dispatch teams for smooth material flow.
- Track inward and outward movement of materials and update inventory records promptly.
- Maintain housekeeping and follow 5S standards within the store area.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures during material handling and storage.
- Manage scrap, surplus, rejected, and obsolete materials according to company procedures.
- Support dispatch activities by preparing materials and documentation for shipment.
- Maintain records of returnable items, tools, pallets, and packing materials.
- Generate inventory and stock reports for management review.
- Assist during internal and external audits by providing required inventory records.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, ISO standards, and statutory requirements related to store
