Job Summary
We are hiring a QC Lab Chemist for a leading Plywood Manufacturing Company located in Kareli. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in laboratory testing, chemical analysis, quality control procedures, and documentation. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of raw materials, adhesives, resins, and finished plywood products while maintaining laboratory standards and compliance.
Mandatory Technical Skills
- Chemical analysis of raw materials and finished products
- Testing of adhesives, resins, and chemicals used in plywood manufacturing
- Knowledge of laboratory instruments and testing procedures
- pH Meter, Moisture Testing & Quality Testing Equipment
- MS Excel, MS Word & Laboratory Documentation
- Basic understanding of Quality Standards, SOPs, and Laboratory Safety Procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality testing of raw materials, adhesives, resins, and finished plywood products.
- Conduct routine physical and chemical analysis as per quality standards.
- Maintain laboratory records, test reports, and quality documentation.
- Ensure calibration, cleanliness, and proper maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Identify quality deviations and coordinate with the Production and Quality teams for corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety practices, SOPs, and company quality standards.
- Support continuous quality improvement initiatives and process optimization.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Quality Control Laboratory.
- Experience in the Plywood, Laminate, Resin, Adhesive, MDF, Particle Board, or Wood Panel Industry will be preferred.
- Good analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
