About the Role
We're hiring a SolidWorks Design Engineer to design heavy-duty semi-trailers for the Australian market. You'll work directly with our Australian engineering and operations team, translating real-world requirements — road train compatibility, remote/mining route durability, Australian Design Rules compliance — into manufacturable designs.
Responsibilities
- Design and detail semi-trailers and heavy equipment using SolidWorks (structural frames, sheet metal, weldments)
- Produce accurate 2D drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation
- Collaborate directly with Australian stakeholders on specs, revisions, and compliance requirements
- Ensure designs meet Australian Design Rules (ADR) and Heavy Vehicle National Law standards
- Support prototyping, DFM feedback, and design iteration cycles
Requirements
- 3+ years experience with SolidWorks (sheet metal, weldments, structural design)
- Prior experience with trailers, chassis, or heavy vehicle design strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (welding, fabrication, structural steel)
- Ability to work directly with an international team, overlapping Australian business hours
- Willingness to travel to Australia as the role grows

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
